Throw | My new Character stop motion Animation Loop using Stickybones
Last edited:
Hello friends! I've finally completed my latest character stop-motion animation using Stickybones. After extensive testing and practice, I've achieved a higher-quality result than before. Though not without its challenges, I'm overall satisfied with the work I've done. I'd appreciate your feedback in the comments!
For this animation, I managed without rigs and winders. Simply pulling magnets from the feet and securing the puppet to a metal surface with screws proved sufficient. However, there were some lighting issues during the animation process due to adjusting the monitor, which also served as a light source. This was quickly resolved. I'm gradually gaining a better understanding of human motion anatomy, and I'm eager to find tutorials on the subject, as it's crucial for puppet animation. Once again, Stickybones are the perfect tool for puppet animation practice, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to refine their animation skills.

But remember, having the perfect tool doesn't mean it's easy or fast! Training will be challenging, and every success will need to be chiseled from granite. However, after several months of hard work, you'll reap the rewards!
Shooting behind-the-scenes footage is not easy for me, primarily due to the small amount of free time I have. But nevertheless I managed to make a short but, as I think, interesting and useful video. I hope you like it.
If you have any questions regarding my stop motion animation "Throw," feel free to ask in the comments! I'll do my best to provide answers and save you time.
Warm regards, Magshifter
