Advertising on the Forum is disabled. As it turned out there is no sense in it. You can support the existence of the forum by giving the admin a coffee.

At first glance, advertising on a forum may seem unwanted or annoying. However, when we consider the forum of the stop-motion animator community, advertising becomes a necessary tool to support the platform's development and long-term sustainability. As the founder and developer of this forum, I am compelled to fund its development from my modest family budget. I need to provide a financial base for the platform and create a comfortable space for knowledge and experience exchange, something I've dreamed of for a long time.

Non-Toxic Advertising for a Comfortable Environment

One key task in integrating advertising on the forum is maintaining a comfortable and non-toxic environment for participants. Advertising blocks should be placed in a way that does not interfere with the user experience or create discomfort. The choice of advertisers also plays an important role: advertising should be related to the forum's theme and offer interesting propositions to its audience.

Stimulating Activity and Community Growth

Beyond financial benefits, advertising on the forum can stimulate participant activity and community growth. Revenue from advertising can be directed towards organizing contests, events, and other stimulating activities, which also attract new members and strengthen community connections.

What is the amount of advertising on the site and what does it depend on?
In test mode, I have integrated an automatic system for dynamically turning ads on and off in the forum. Its amount depends on the activity in the community and is divided into several categories.

1. Unregistered guests. They see 100% of advertising blocks from Google. This can be inconvenient and annoying, and it's the price for content you use and do not interact with in any way.
2. Registered users see 35% of ads. This reasonably loyal ad block placement isn't toxic or repulsive.
3. Verified users see 2% of ads (direct or indirect sponsors of our project). This is an active audience that publishes helpful articles, actively comments on the materials of other users, and develops our community in one way or another. This status is given automatically when the user accumulates 70 comments in specific categories or publishes 15 useful topics in certain categories (conditions are spontaneously made up and may change in the future).
4. Patrons see 2% of ads (direct or indirect sponsors of our project). These users treated the administrator with 5 cups of coffee and wrote their forum nickname in the message.

Conclusion

I hope that you will understand this necessary measure. If you have any suggestions, advice, or recommendations, I would be happy to hear them in the comments below or via personal message.

Warm Regard, Magshifter

I'm sure the forum ads won't get in the way and I don't see any toxicity at the moment. A small fee for your efforts, not sure it will even cover a fraction of your costs! I'll be the first Patron. I'll do a good deed and turn off the ads :)
